Help Please!why must sexual reproducing organisms have both mitosis and meiosis in their life cycles?

Some flies have decided to make my room their home. Why and how can I get rid of them?

I keep my room clean and tidy, and don’t leave old food around. A group of maybe a dozen flies - fairly small, but definitely flies - have decided it’s a good idea to buzz around the light-bulb fixture in the centre of the room in a big group.

What makes them gather there? It only started now that spring has come, and I don’t want them hanging around. I also don’t want to spray them with fly spray, since it’s not great for people and I don’t like killing.

I have taken to shooing them out the window, but it’s tricky. They seem to regroup whenever my windows are open.

My room is at the top floor of our place, if that bears any relation on things…

Been getting bit by bugs have 2 dogs thought flees but only me gettin bit now think bed bugs? Help?

about 2 weeks ago I started getting bug bits we have 2 dogs so at first I thought flees but 4 other people are in my house and noone else is getting bit. I am the only one who sleeps in my bed and my husband stays in a hotel 5 out of 7 nights a week every week.Could he have brought bed bugs from a hotel? How do I tell? And WHAT DO I DO?

In japan do they have documentary shows on tribes in africa?

I see shows on the discovery channel were a few scientists with a small camera crew go and live with tribal people i africa for a month. Or shows with someone walking through the jungle finding bugs and animals and talking about them.

And I was wondering since Japan is a rich 1st world country, do they have shows were japanese scientists go and live with african tribes, or have a steve Irwin type person walking around the jungle finding bugs?

Im just curious

I need help with math and need explain with in sentence of Hungry bugs?

If it takes a colony of termites one day to devour a block of wood that is 2 inches wide, 2 inches long, and 2 inches high, then how long will it take them to devour a block of wood that is 4 inches wide, 4 inches long and 4 inches high. Assume that they keep eating at the same rate.
